On the off chance you see this ludwig--do what you feel is best for **you*, not your chatters or your career: even if that means quitting forever, you presumably have the money to float along until you find other passions to pursue. You shouldn't have to feel like you seem to having been feeling through this entire stream, at least not regularly. I can only hope this was because of something you wish you were addressing in your real life, not a more general disillusionment with your job. But completely irregardlessly, I wish you nothing but the best. Feel through the pressure your "fans" provide so "lovingly." As I'm sure you know, no matter how attached they may feel to *your* content... they are there only for their *content.* I know I am just, as you put it, "another random ass guy on the street." Been playing raid for 5 years now (About as long as I'm following your content, Lud) - not a whale, just genuinely enjoying it. There are three stages to it. Early game, mid game and late game. You gotta play for at least 6 months to a year to be in late game really.
You can't judge a game where you're supposed to play daily (for a short amount of time) over a long amount of time (since tons of the content only gets unlocked on certain levels), in 19 minutes. Like, dude, thats the worst possible foundation to make a judgment on. You didn't read into it, try to understand what its about or how the game unfolds at certain milestones. They make packages expensive on purpose, because it skips the essence of it: finding a way to clear content with what you have, instead of pulling everything you need for money to just skip it essentially (besides gear, which is kinda unskippable - you can have god like gear as a no spender aswell). The packages are way too expensive and I never bought those certain shard packs. You get tons and tons of stuff in late game, via modes and in early game, via rewards.
Raid is genuinely fun - at a certain point in the game you can be done with your stuff in 15 minutes, or spend hours on something you wanna beat or try out.
