Oh the risky reels incident... remember it like it was yesterday, I was exited to play that day I remember. I had been landing that spot for the better half of that season, it was my favorite spot. At that time I didn't have the battle pass chose not to buy but that information would have been useful before hand, so I land risky and what I see would make any boy wish he was somewhere... better. I was the first to jump from the battle bus so when i make it to risky and then look back to see if anyone came it was like looking at a flock of crows, I thought I would survive since I had the advantage and i see what I thought was a good weapon and it was... a pump. Now today I would say that I love the pump but back then on controller... it was my worse weapon and what I would've thought today was the best find then was not saving grace. And I run behind myself and i see the people landing on the cars... soo... many... people... carnage, pickaxes swinging, people running away, getting picked off from the sky, barely any building and then I run torwards the entrance and in the booth there was a person with a tac and he ends me. I decided to stay and see what happened if it was a streamer that had come to risky that day? A total of 83 people had landed with me that day... 83! of the total that was left after I counted 17 after 5 minutes of the game starting. Some had run so it was probably more, but that day I found out it wasn't a streamer, my favorite landing spot had been ripped from me by epic themselves...

Been playing since c1s2 and I can say, c4s1 is my favorite. I loved brutal bastion, I loved the citadel, I loved the graphics and definitely the augments. I had the most fun playing Fortnite during this season and I don’t think anything can top it

In high school, i had literally 30+ people from my school who would be in Fortnite after school everyday or after sports everyday, we had squads on squads on squads of people. Close friends, friends of friends, people you only know from class.
We were playing the game with seniors as sophomores in the real prime 2017-2018. Everyone was playing and playing together.
We even had a neighboring high school where we’d be playing with kids from that school because someone has them on console from back in youth sports days that now we all play together because of Fortnite.
The reason I tell you this…. All these people stopped playing, just like it never happened. season 9 and X marked the end for the people already, and chapter 2 didn’t make them return.
Truly Fortnite may not have died but the demographic of the og players, who caused this game to thrust to the top of the world, did.
Undoubtedly the times when the game was making news headlines, doing irl cameos, having million dollar prize pools, etc. was the clear prime.
Chapter 1 is Fortnite. Unfortunately the new gen doesn’t understand because they weren’t there, they weren’t old enough to understand.
The community that came from chapter 1 Fortnite is unmatched. The lives changed from chapter 1 Fortnite is unmatched.
Fortnite chapter 1 is 100% THE PRIME of video game history in general.

How can Fortnite chapter 1 be the prime of video game community history but not be the prime of Fortnite itself? It can’t not be, it’s impossible. Which proves, these polls are not accurate, the players lied about which demographic they are apart of and chapter 2 is not even close to the prime level of Fortnite this is just skewed data from little brats who missed out on the obvious prime of Fortnite.
It’s really a dumb conversation because it so obvious that chapter 1 is prime Fortnite because it just is Fortnite before being called chapter 1. And is the reason it’s the biggest game ever

The og players did not participate in this poll, all these opinions come from people who were 12 or younger in 2016.
Chapter 2 was complete ass except for Tony stark season.
Let me put it this way, Fortnite was the best game to play during chapter 1. BUT… during Fortnite chapter 2, the best game to be playing at that time was rebirth warzone.
This is a fact, and if u disagree there is literally a 90% chance you were a child who missed the prime Fortnite and hopped on the bandwagon and you are actually the one blinded by nostalgia because chapter 2 was your prime.

I think chapter 1 season 3-5 and chapter 2 season 2-4 are my personal favourites by far, everything else wasn’t that memorable and I just couldn’t bring myself to consistently play the game anymore outside of those seasons

To be honest, We all look back on early chapter 2 as fortnite's prime, but when we actually played. we got mad because of the mythics or all of the sweats, while in chapter 1, people would bushcamp and skybase making it a lot more fun, but there weren't as many sweats and the map was very iconic, we also got so hyped for all the live events and teasers, so that is why chapter one is better than early chapter 2.

I started playing FN on C5S1, so I only have opinions on these, but my favorite season has to be Wrecked. I think the map of S2 Remix is very visually appealing and I can see why people liked it but the BP is not the best. Eager to see what season 6 will bring. :)
