The thing that bugs me about Luke is assuming he's the same as you (which seems to be the case at least in the basics with body cell being universal) then he can't drown. That means he fell and probably just floated there trapped below the water until his power ran out. Possibly for years hoping someone would come save him.

The Wp Pump basically let's you respawn where u died. It WILL come in handy as well as SP Initializer that slowly recovers your hp during combat which is basically Combat Healing. And you will need both of them because you will die very much in the future videos because the enemies are a lot tougher and if u don't have them and your save point is far then you will be respawned at the save point that is far which will be inconvenient for u.

I'm glad you said that about NieR - the background music while you're running around feels very similar to Replicant. Kind of reminds me of the same. I definitely want to grab this game soon once I finish up FF7Rebirth.
