The reason trunks is here: Fixing how things should look as they go. Goku should be shown holding Radizt, Vegeta would of blast Nappa away, and Goku shouldn't have any energy to fight Great ape Vegeta and leave Gohan and Krillin (and Yajirobe) to try and cut off his tail. It looks like a fun game to play.
