Okay, here's what I would have done. So I like the angle of framing a former ULF fighter, but how they did it here is too cartoonish. Why not just kidnap the woman and inject a hallucinogen into her system. Something that triggers PTSD flashbacks like a fear toxin or something like that. Then Konni Group shoots up the airport with all security cameras down, and you play as the woman, trying to stop the attack while flashes of past battles against Russians in Urzikstan interrupt the action. Then, at the end of the mission, she is framed for the attack, and the invasion of Urzikstan begins.

- wouldn't the aviation authority find it strange that the exit was opened mid flight (btw doors are actually impossible to open while on flight)

- wouldn't it be odd for investigators to see that the remains of Makarov and his men can't be found? Not even a fabric of clothing

I knew from COD Vanguard that Activision is trying so hard to have their own avengers hoping they can make spinoffs of their individual characters
It's a shame their goal of an Activision Cinematic Universe has tainted the MW reboot
I really loved the direction MW2019 was headed feeling more grounded and slowpaced

The original No Russian is much more impactful because you're FORCED to participate in the horror. There's very little dialogue, and the game relies very much on "show don't tell" wherein Makarov and his men step out of the elevator and just begin unloading on people. This version will be forgotten because it's little more than an interactive cutscene, and what's more you're not even doing anything yourself - the bad guys show up, do their thing, dump some exposition laying out their evil plan, then leave.
