I like this game a lot, and it is definitely challenging, but having to defeat the likes of the lizard, and Mr. Negative in several phases means defeating Kraven will be absolutely impossible. I obviously haven't got to that stage yet.

It speaks to the skewed standard for game reviews and reviews in general today where someone can see an 8/10 review and their first assumption is “Maybe they had something against the game”. 7/10 is an impressive score for a game, 6/10 is good, s d 5/10 is by default average. I suppose people are just so used to 9 and 10 being thrown around without serious critical thinking.
