They really dropped the ball with this version of Jameson. He’s so cartoonishly one-note and shallow. In the comics, movies, most shows, and even some other games, he has far more to him and isn’t this permanent extremist who just hates the good guy. This is set 9 or so years after Spider-Man started heroing, right? In that time, he’s stayed completely the same. And sure, maybe if they handled it as this self-destructive tragedy, it would work, but everything points to this being funny. It stopped being funny a while ago because it’s ALL he says.
