Yeah this game is pretty hard. I don't have the switch game, but there is a flash version online which is pretty similar, and I managed to get two watermelons before losing. I feel Ludwig's pain.
Edit: The flash version is significantly harder since it doesn't tell you what the next fruit you'll be able to drop is.

the initially thought “clementine” is a japanese orange (looked it up, it’s a sumo citrus) the “orange” is a persimmon I could tell immediately (tho I don’t blame lud doubt he knows that fruit since it’s a more asian fruit) and the “cantaloupe” is a japanese pear 😭😭😭

I had a chat with a reseller of the Japan eshop gift cards and they said they are selling a lot of cards just for this watermelon game. I am not a paid person for them but Apartment 507 seems to have the best gift card prices of some of the resellers online. I guess this game can explain why some of the resellers don't have gift cards anymore.
