Back in highschool, this was the perfect example of a “so bad it’s good” game. The voice acting & script is still trash, but the gameplay gets a lot better if you play on the hardest difficulty

Halo killer? Hahahahaha, I don't think so. It looks like a mildly entertaining game, but from what I saw in this clip it's not even in the same ballpark with Halo. Hopefully you fight more varied NPCs than just the dudes in black body armor with yellow shoulder pads and a yellow motorcycle helmet. Seemed quite repetitive, with limited enemy types. With no humorous moments thrown in to temporarily slow the pace and lightening the mood now and then. I have not seen or played the whole game, so all I have is what is in this clip, I just can't seem to get into the vibe they were going for. On top of that (from what I saw in this clip anyway) it has lackluster level design. Hard to get a feel for the scope of AI interactions watching a short clip, but it seemed adequate. I'm sorry, but this is not even close to being a Halo killer.

game had multiplayer, and yes the rebels objectively was better, lootable ammo on weapons, feigning death which even tricked the killfeed, you can use nectar against Mantel via nectar nades causing OD, shit was wild, Mantel was cool aesthetically, but all they had was nectar, and if you get a OD nade or shot in your administrator, ggs fam, but it was a unique game as flawed as it was, just wish it never made the claim to be the "halo killer"
edit: Ok after 15 years I just realized, Merino was also in the wrong, he planned to infuse his locals with nectar, its like the side effects means nothing, that was SUS, hence why Carpenter went "What" his new homie sounded like Duvall in the last minutes there 👀
