Imperious wasn't weak he's just over powered. (although Imperius coudn`t even defeat a normal Diablo) That diablo is jacked up with other 6 demons, 2 being greater and 4 lesser, which turned into Tathamet like creature. For those who doesn't know Tathamet that was Anu's dark self that he seperated from his body and became the prime evil And if you don't know Anu he was basically God, they battled and eventually came to draw, both were killed. Anu's remains became the high heavens and Tathame's became hell. Now, if you've been thinking, how the hell Diablo was defeated wherein it's Uber form? Well, reason is Nephalems are OP, because they are the offsprings of angels and demons. Remember, Anu, he separated his dark side so technically he split his powers, therefore Nephalems are basically Anu in full power. That's why they are so powerful.
