I thought this game died years ago. APB Reloaded. An online MMORPG without any RPG and these days it's hardly M either. So an MO game with a fantastic character creator, tattoo designer, clothing options and personal theme tune creator. However the gameplay is total crap. Don't bother. I played this so you don't have to. This video includes the most balanced games I've had in the last 9 hours (not even joking).

I clocked more than 600 hours in APB Reloaded years ago, mostly together with my siblings. Lots of fun and frustration every time, but nothing felt as good as kicking P2W players' asses with your F2P team. Teamwork made the dream work, and it was essential to almost every mission.
The customization was on another level in this game, especially with your character, clothing, vehicles and theme songs.
But for everything they did right, I think the publishers killed this game due to two main issues: The insane pay to win aspect, and a lack of effort in dealing with cheaters (wallhacking and aimbot being the popular ones). You also had incidents with moderators who were power trippin' and banned people for personal reasons. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I tried it again a few months back. I couldn't recommend this game to anyone new today, simply because the majority of the players are veterans with insane amounts of gear and experience to wipe the floor with the poor newbies. The balancing system doesn't work properly thanks to the low player base, but even then you're likely to be matched with a smurf account anyway.

2:05 One of the things I enjoyed about this game was the ability to make your own theme songs, that played when you got killed by them or they got the MVP for the mission. This guy for instance had what sounded like Hollywood Undead's "Undead" as his theme, most likely bought from the in-game auction house though. The majority of the themes were total crap and made for trolling, but there were talented people who made some awesome tunes and covers.

I vaguely remember some reviewer or other making a video on this game. Made by the people who did og Crackdown. A bunch of different companies have had their hands on it since then, slowly evolving it into the F2P game it is now.
Last I remember the consensus was “Crackdown was better”, lol
