This is a waste of valuable Astartes. Their superior abilities are best used elsewhere, and they wouldn't be able to handle recovered archeotech if they found it. The Mechanicus is far more suited to combatting genestealers aboard a hulk. They may be millions, or tens of millions, but my forge-temple alone has billions of Kataphron Breachers to spare.
