It makes a world of difference on how the graphics and detail look. White helmets are for veterans. The Thousand Sons Heretics are a faction of former Space Marines with their demon Primarch Magnus sided with the Chaos God Tzeentch, one of the four Chaos Gods. Since Magnus is a formidable wielder of magic, so is the troops under him (the ones you where fighting here). These ones here are called Rubric Marines. The smaller birdlike beasties are called Tzaangors. My son collects Thousand Sons and Tyranids (the minis) and I collect Ultramarines, so I find this game particularly cool. I have the bigger version of the tank that gave you a lift, the Repulsor Executioner.
