They should make it so you can choose whether to have the video censored or not like with subtitles. Monetisation may still be affected by it, but if you put in the editing work in to censor the bad stuff to provide an option for more PG viewers, then you will get paid with no backlash towards yourself or fans who don't mind the foul language / gore. I think you should try to rally some YouTubers and petition for a change😁 in the end it doesn't really change the work you have to put in. Just makes the quality of your videos better for everyone! But that's just my idea.
