Cool, keep RE4 as over the shoulder but they really should have stayed true to the originals. I hate when people think fixed camera games are obsolete SOLELY due to then hardware limitations. This shouldn't be the case because side scroller platformers and metroidvania titles were created due to the same limitations but still continue today because the essence of the perspective cannot be captured in full 3D games. The fixed camera angles take much of the control away from the player, in turn amplifying the sense of horror and unease the player goes through during the game. Over the shoulder makes the game much easier because you see everything and can kill things from a distance, whereas in the original titles surprises would often be out of view and you'd have to tentatively approach the edge of the screen for it to reveal itself, ramping up the sense of terror. Fixed camera angles and survival horror are synonymous. Color grading and level design are heavily borrowing from old RE1 remake, and it shows.
