Vigilant resolve was the first battle of Fallujah, which is where US forces moved in. But ended up stalling because apparently the Iraqi government parliament figures were forcing to resign if our forces weren’t pulled out of there. So our forces waited for months the Iraqi government told US forces and our allies that they would have the situation under control. Unfortunately, around that time somewhere around summer time Iraq sent in this brigade which joined forces with the insurgence in Iraq.
